Use tethering

You can use the device to create an Internet connection from e.g. a laptop. Follow these instructions to use tethering.
You need to set up the device for Internet to use this function. Click here to see how.

Connect the data cable to the device socket and to the computer's USB port.

Step 2 of 9

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Step 3 of 9

Press Applications.

Step 4 of 9

Press Settings.

Step 5 of 9

Press Wireless and network.

Step 6 of 9

Press Tethering.

Step 7 of 9

Press USB tethering to activate tethering.

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

An Internet connection from the computer via the device is automatically established.
When the connection is established, you can access the Internet from your computer.

1. Connect device and computer

Connect the data cable to the device socket and to the computer's USB port.

2. Activate tethering

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
Press Applications.
Press Settings.
Press Wireless and network.
Press Tethering.
Press USB tethering to activate tethering.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is activated.

3. Establish connection

An Internet connection from the computer via the device is automatically established.
When the connection is established, you can access the Internet from your computer.
