The touch screen isn't responding - Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

Cause 1 of 1: The device is locked

If the device is locked, the touch screen isn't responding.

Solution: Turn off key lock.

Select option

Select one of the following options:
Turn key lock on or off, go to 1a.
Select setting for automatic key lock, go to 1b.

To turn on the key lock:
Briefly press On/Off.

To turn off the key lock:
Briefly press On/Off.
Slide your finger upwards.

Press Apps.

Press Settings.

Press Screen.

Press Timeout.

Press the required period.

Press the home icon to return to standby mode.

Press Apps.
Press Settings.
Press Screen.
Press Timeout.
Press the required period.
Press the home icon to return to standby mode.
