I can't send and receive picture messages on my Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 17

Cause 4 of 4: Data roaming is turned off

To send and receive picture messages when abroad, data roaming needs to be turned on.

Solution: Turn on data roaming.

Press Settings.

Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
