You can't turn on your phone - Samsung B2710

Cause 2 of 3: Your phone isn't assembled correctly

If your SIM or battery isn't inserted correctly, you can't turn on your phone.

Solution: Make sure that both SIM and battery are inserted correctly.

Step 1 of 7

Remove the back cover

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Turn the back cover lock anticlockwise using a coin.

Step 2 of 7

Remove the back cover

Take hold of the top of the back cover and remove it.

Step 3 of 7

Insert your SIM

Place your SIM as illustrated on the SIM holder.

Insert your SIM

Slide your SIM into the holder.

Step 5 of 7

Insert the battery

Place the battery in your phone, top first, matching the battery contacts with the phone contacts and press the battery into place.

Replace the back cover

Place the back cover on your phone, bottom first, and press the top downwards.

Replace the back cover

Use a coin to turn the back cover lock clockwise to secure the back cover.

1 Remove the back cover

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Turn the back cover lock anticlockwise using a coin.

Take hold of the top of the back cover and remove it.

2 Insert your SIM

Place your SIM as illustrated on the SIM holder.

Slide your SIM into the holder.

3 Insert the battery

Place the battery in your phone, top first, matching the battery contacts with the phone contacts and press the battery into place.

4 Replace the back cover

Place the back cover on your phone, bottom first, and press the top downwards.

Use a coin to turn the back cover lock clockwise to secure the back cover.
